Mental health is something that we all have, and can all experience, whatever our background and walk of life. Everyone should have an equal opportunity to live well and experience wholesome mental health. We work together with individuals, families, and communities to support each other in respectful, inclusive, and culturally appropriate ways, valuing our rights and enabling us all to feel appreciated for who we are, in all our diversity.

Jasmine's passion is to make her patients feel loved, cared for, and heard. She is committed to providing her clients with the highest quality of care customized to their needs and expectations. In addition, Jasmine treats everyone with dignity and respect. If our treatment philosophy allies with your goals, then we look forward to working with you.

Adolescent and Adult psychiatry

13 – 65 years of age

Psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and treatment for general psychiatry concerns which include anxiety disorders, Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mood disorders (i.e., depression, bipolar disorder types I & II), schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, sleep or insomnia, disorders of impulse-control, stress and adjustment problems.

Motivational Interviewing Therapy (MI)

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a method of therapy that works to help people find the motivation to change their behavior. It is especially helpful for people who are struggling to make a change. Motivational Interviewing is frequently used in cases of problem drinking or mild addictions.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive-behavioral therapy stresses the role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. It is based on the belief that thoughts, rather than people or events, cause our negative feelings. The provider assists the client in identifying, testing the reality of, and correcting dysfunctional beliefs underlying his or her thinking. The provider then helps the client modify those thoughts and the behaviors that flow from them. CBT is a structured collaboration between provider and client and often calls for homework assignments. CBT has been clinically proven to help clients in a relatively short amount of time with a wide range of disorders, including depression and anxiety.

Strength-Based Therapy

Strength-based therapy is a type of positive psychotherapy and counseling that focuses more on your internal strengths and resourcefulness, and less on weaknesses, failures, and shortcomings. This focus sets up a positive mindset that helps you build on your best qualities, find your strengths, improve resilience, and change your worldview to one that is more positive. A positive attitude, in turn, can help your expectations of yourself and others become more reasonable.

What Clients Say

"My provider Jasmine is excellent at what she does. I came to her sick and on a lot of medications prescribed by different providers. She took her time with me, gradually discontinue the medications that contraindicated each other, and finally put me on the right medication and on low doses for that matter. It has been over three months now and my medications are working and I feel like myself again. I feel human and not like a zombie. I am glad I have a provider who listens, cares, and goes above and beyond for me. I cannot thank Jasmine enough. She saved my life."
